Prepare your company's human resources in fire prevention and control. Through collaboration with certification bodies, the program offers classroom and practical-based training at PT PLN Indonesia Power's dedicated facilities.
In Class Training (ICT)
This program offers fundamental knowledge and theory in operating and maintaining power plants using learning modules and best practices implemented by PT PLN Indonesia Power, covering:
- Health and Safety (HSE) in power plants.
- Basic theories of power generation like thermodynamics, power generation technologies, and applied chemistry in the generation process.
- Fundamentals of operating a generator, including basic instruments and controls, generator maintenance, asset management with Maximo, and the use of simulators.
On Job Training (OJT)
A practical program to implement and deepen theories previously studied at PT PLN Indonesia Power's power plants. In this practical program, participants receive guidance from expert and experienced mentors, facilitating valuable knowledge sharing in the learning process. Another aim of the OJT program is for participants to have the opportunity to take the Competency Certification Examination in accordance with Law No. 30 of 2009.
DCBA Class Firefighter Training by Indonesian Ministry of Labor
This program provides key training and certification in fire control. Training is provided by a team of experts who are tasked with carrying out preventive, repressive, and rehabilitative actions at PT PLN Indonesia Power's power plants which have implemented safety as the main culture of the company.
In addition, there is a Fire Fighting Simulator program, which is a practical program to implement and deepen the theories that have been learned.
PT PLN Indonesia Power has a fire safety training center in which there are practical facilities for extinguishing real objects in the power plant. In this practical program, participants will get direction from expert and experienced mentors so that knowledge sharing will help the learning process.

Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) Field Operation Development Program (FODP)
SOLUTION
The strategic collaboration between PLN IP and PETROS through the Field Operation Development Program (FODP) provide a platform for knowledge transfer and also opportunity for sharing experiences and encourage cross-cultural work approaches. This program has been successfully implemented using a comprehensive approach comprising In-Class Training and On-Job Training.
During the In-Class Training, participants were provided with theoretical materials and knowledge by experts from PLN IP, engaging in experience sharing and interactive discussions in a classroom setting.
The capacity development continued with the On-Job Training phase. In this stage, PETROS operators were given the opportunity to work directly as shift operators at Priok CCGT for approximately five months. They gained hands-on experience operating various critical blocks and equipment, including the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), Steam Turbine (ST), Gas Turbine (GT), Balance of Plant (BOP), and Central Control Room (CCR).
